Organize documents by shipment, not by memory
Documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, arrival notices, bills of lading, delivery orders, FMC records, and email files can be stored with the shipment they belong to. Operators can see document readiness alongside the rest of the file instead of searching shared drives and inbox folders.
Preview and correct document names before the file disappears into storage
CargoFlow supports editable document names during upload, later renaming, and in-app preview for supported files. Email files can be reviewed and their attachments can move through the same controlled document pipeline, helping operators understand what was actually received before saving it.
Use security controls around the vault
CargoFlow’s document pipeline includes upload validation, content fingerprints, malware and quarantine controls, and authorization checks. Customer-facing document access uses the same security posture and requires the file to be explicitly approved for customer visibility.
Connect documents to release and closeout work
Document readiness can be part of the operational checklist used before delivery, release, billing, or closeout. That makes the vault more than storage: it becomes part of the shipment workflow and a record of what was available when the team acted.
